Description of activities

SMALL GROUPS (SG)
Continuous early morning experiential groups, organized around theoretical orientations or specific interests. Sessions will last 1 hour and 30 minutes with up to 12 participants, who are requested to attend all 4 sessions. Small groups offer a unique opportunity to find one’s place in the conference, to share and explore thoughts, irritations and new inspiring ideas in a protected space on an interpersonal basis. It is a very special place to connect to others and to feel connected.

MEDIAN GROUPS (MG)
Offer a transitional space between the individual and the social experience of the conference, focusing on the social, the cultural and the organizational dimension of the experience. It is a space to explore the community of colleagues from around the world and the international spirit of the conference. Sessions with different theoretical orientations will take place in the morning (1:30 h) with up to 25 participants, who are requested to attend all 4 sessions. Conductors are by invitation.

THE LARGE GROUP (LG)
is a space at the end of the day that helps to contain the irritating, or frustrating, or disturbing as well as enchanting experiences that we experience throughout the conference. It is a space to be together at one time of the day and to overcome the confusing diversity of a large conference. It is a space to experience the feeling to be a member of an international professional community in all its diversity and with all its despairs and desires. Sessions will last 1:30 h. Conductors are by invitation.

PAPER (PA)
Two or three papers organized around a related theme. The sessions will last 1 hour and 15 minutes.

PLENARY SESSIONS (PL)
There will be a plenary session each day of the Congress. The speakers are invited and will represent diverse areas of interest and come from different parts of the world.

EXPRESSIVE ART ACTIVITIES (AA)
Artistic initiatives (dance, music, song, painting, etc.) designed to promote conviviality among the conference participants are scheduled during lunch breaks. The events will last 1 hour. Some are experiential and continuous. Participants should attend all sessions.

SYMPOSIA (SY)
Panels organized around a theme: chair plus 2 or 3 panelists and discussants. The symposium format can be a single session symposium or an ongoing symposium, where a major theme in the field is explored in depth over 3- 4 days. Each day session will last 1 hour and 30 minutes.

COURSES (CO)
Teaching the essentials of a major topic over 2 or 3 days. Content is usually didactic, but can also include demonstrations and experiential components. Each day session will last 1 hour and 30 minutes.

WORKSHOPS (WS)
Organized around a specific topic or theme. The focus of the workshop is interactive: where information is exchanged between the participants and the leader(s). Workshops may have 1-3 leaders. Sessions are 1 hour and 30 minutes.

VIDEO SESSIONS (VI)
Presentation and discussion of original videos that have clinical relevance. Sessions will last 1? hours. Videos will be presented in a continuous round about during the Congress.

POSTER (PO)
A visual presentation of a topic mounted on poster.

'GROUPS IN THE CITY' (GC)
Interactive activities where Congress participants, the citizens of Rovinj and tourists will have an opportunity to interact with each other and explore themes of a universal nature, common to all. The activities will be scheduled after the regular Congress program at night and be held in public squares, theaters, social centers of Rovinj or within the congress venue. Activities may include reflective and expressive events such as dance, music and art performances, playback- theater, socio-drama, theater of spontaneity and additionally other cultural and social activities.
